PLASMA CUTTING AND INK MARKING

There are 3 large plasma cutting machines in our industrial building that can process steel, aluminium and stainless steel.

Plasma cutting is basically a process that uses ionised gas (plasma) that reaches the metal at high speed through a limited opening (torch). The metal is heated to such an extent by the plasma that it melts and creates cuts. The molten material is immediately removed from the cut by selecting the required high quantity of plasma gas. Plasma cutting is mainly used for 3 to 35 mm panels.

The advantages of plasma cutting are:
* High cutting speed
* Extremely accurate
* Little panel deformation
* Square cutting
* Requires the minimum of finishing (therefore, good weldability)

Components can be marked during cutting through fully automatic inkjet marking. This marking is used as construction lines by welders of lines of sight for the printer, which ensures that this intensive work becomes significantly easier.
